Installation different solutions: answer to concern about light and smoke management in building UGIVAL

SCI Ugival completer a building consisting off offices and two manufacturing workshops in the Albon business area nearby the A7 highway.

These brand new premises are being occupied by Ugigrip, the world leader in winter automobile safety.

Kingspan Light + Air participated in the construction of these buildings together with two customers: the sealer and the carpenter. All exterior joinery includes a beautiful canopy with a free-standing roof and a curtain wall.


We also supplied and installed all of the vaults equipped with solar shading and the natural smoke extraction system, including a front window and smoke vents, as well as the entire pneumatic control system.

This achievement highlights all of our know-how in roofing and facades, for a very aesthetic result!

Our Solution :

  • 1 canopy Ecoplan Premium Simple Slope
  • 1 curtain wall on the reception facade incorporating 1 entrance door with fireman bolt and electromagnetic strike
  • 1 PN smoke extraction frame
  • 6 Ecofil arcade rooflight with Ecosun solar shading
  • 1 smoke vent intregrated inside the arcade rooflight
  • 12 Ecofeu 160 PN 160×160 + 1 Ecofeu 160 PN 100×100 AT
  • Ecofeu 110 TC Special Staircase
  • Pneumatic control system.
