Test smoke management system Orio Al Serio Airport, Bergamo Italy

Our Italian Certified Kingspan Light + Air Partner Bovema tested the smoke management systems applied at Orio Al Serio airport last week. For fire safety purposes Bovema installed Kingspan Classic domes as well as Kingspan Estra louvred ventilators at the enlargement of this airport.
The Bergamo Airport is well known throughout Europe. Orio al Serio (Bergamo) has become the third most active airport in Italy. Of course a safe and comfortable environment is essential for an airport like this. It is important that visitors and employees can make a safe exit from the airport in case of fire. An efficient Smoke and Heat Exhaust system is therefore very important.
