Comfortable and fire safe thanks to SHEV and daylight access

Mono Therma and Duo Therma louvred ventilators have been installed at the Tichestrasse residential building for daylight access and smoke and heat extraction. The result: a comfortable building with pleasant living conditions. A number of systems have been applied for daylight access and fitted with (double) glazing. Six systems also serve as smoke and heat exhaust thus ensuring a safe escape route in the case of fire.

Duo Therma particulars

With the double-louvred Duo Therma, the louvres have been mounted adjacent to each other and fitted with a V-bracket and extended flange. The architect requested the Duo Therma louvred ventilators for the Tichestrasse on account of an earlier project – the Mattenhof residential building – where these ventilators have also been installed.
